Combat Robotics at Berkeley builds and competes with combat robots across four weight classes: 1lb, 15lb, 30lb, and their 250lb BattleBot, Glitch, which holds a seven-win undefeated streak and has competed on the TV show BattleBots. Members join one of three subteams: Mechanical (CAD, stress simulation, manufacturing), EECS (motors, speed controllers, batteries), or Operations (design, web dev, finances). No application required; attend an intro meeting to join.

Glitch competed in BattleBots World Championship 6 and World Championship 7, a televised international robot fighting competition airing on Discovery Channel, HBO Max, and Discovery+.
BattleBots Destruct-A-Thon
A live, untelevised robot combat show in Las Vegas, distinct from the televised series. Awarded Best New Show in Las Vegas.
BattleBots IQ (regional competition)
CRB entered smaller robots (1lb, 3lb, 15lb weight classes) into BattleBots IQ regional competitions.
