Berkeley Formula Racing (BFR) designs and builds a small formula-style race car from scratch each year to compete in the national Formula SAE competition. With about 60 members across subsystems — Aerodynamics, Brakes & Driver Interface, Chassis Drivetrain, Engine, Electrical, Suspension, and Business — you work on real engineering problems alongside teammates from diverse backgrounds. Founded in 2001, BFR has grown into one of the top competitors in the nation.
