Graduate Association of Latinx Students (GALS)(FORMERLY known as Graduate Students de la Raza)

By Culture·Community Service/Nonprofit·Education

GALS is a cross-departmental community for Latinx graduate and professional students at UC Berkeley. Day-to-day, it builds networks across departments, supports academic and professional development, and coordinates mentorship for Latinx undergrads. Members gain a safe space for intercultural collaboration and community-building, with a focus on addressing the social, political, academic, and cultural issues affecting the Latinx grad and professional community.
