Lavender Alliance at Berkeley

Lavender Alliance at Berkeley (also known as 追光学社) is a safe space for LGBTQ+ Chinese international students and allies at UC Berkeley. Founded in 2020, the club works to create community within the Chinese-speaking student population where gender and sexual identity can be openly discussed. Members can share their stories, find support, and participate in forums and workshops connecting LGBTQ+ youth across cultures and countries.
Events They Host
2021 海内外多元青年论坛 (International LGBTQ+ Youth Diversity Forum)
Held in April 2021, bringing together over a hundred participants from nearly ten countries and regions to discuss the future and open a new decade with sincerity, courage, and reflection.
