MUSA is the undergraduate math community hub at Berkeley. Weekly events include Math Monday professor talks every Monday at 5pm, homework parties on Wednesdays, and Thursday socials like board game nights and pub trivia. Members get access to a physical lounge with cheap food, a borrowable math book library, peer advising, REU and grad school panels, two student-run DeCal courses, and a mentoring program pairing new students with upperclassmen.

Math Monday Undergraduate Lecture Series
Weekly Monday talks at 5pm in Evans 1015 where Berkeley professors and other academics speak on mathematical research and special topics.
Pauline Sperry Undergraduate Lectures
Annual lecture held each spring, celebrating the first woman to become an associate professor in the Berkeley Math Department. Open to all.
Shadow a Math Major Day (SMMD)
Held each spring, usually the day before Cal Day. Prospective math majors visit campus, attend classes, and meet current students.
REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) Panels
Informational panels on undergraduate research opportunities.
Graduate School Panels
Panels on applying to and attending graduate school in math.
Peer Advising Nights
Held in collaboration with the Peer Advisors; students can talk about math courses and department navigation.
LaTeX Workshop
Held once per semester to teach typesetting software commonly used in math.
Recreational Math Nights
Themed evenings focused on fun, exploratory math problems.
Town Halls on the state of the math department
Semesterly events organized by the Outreach and Diversity team.
Career and diversity-related panels
Regular panels on career paths and diversity in mathematics.
Professional development and alumni panels
Held about once a semester; features people with industry experience sharing career advice.
Member Experiences
Thursday Social Events
Weekly Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8pm in Evans 1015. Includes board game nights, pub trivia, pancake charades, and similar social activities. Free snacks and sometimes dinner provided.
Homework Parties
Every Wednesday at 1:30pm in Evans 1015. Open collaborative study sessions.
Student-Faculty Lunches
Regular lunches connecting undergraduates with math faculty.
Student-Faculty Dinner

BUMP Mentoring Events
Mentor-mentee meetups organized by BUMP participants, occasionally sponsored by MUSA.
