Berkeley SPS is the undergraduate physics community at Cal. Members can pursue physics through six committees: Competitions (integration bees, the Berkeley Physics Tournament, weekly problem sets), Seminars (weekly undergrad talks and biweekly faculty-student lunches), Outreach (science lessons at elementary schools, panels for high school students), Projects (science communication and community initiatives), Media, and Socials (picnics, hikes, movie nights). SPS is open to everyone and is "whatever you make of it."

Science Lessons at Elementary Schools
Outreach committee visits local elementary schools to teach science and get younger students excited about physics.
Panels and Tours for High School Physics Students
Outreach committee hosts panels and building tours for high school students interested in physics.
Member Experiences
Biweekly Faculty-Student Lunches
Organized by the Seminars committee; connects students with physics faculty to discuss research, grad school, and more.
Socials (picnics, hikes, movie screenings, arts and crafts)
Organized by the Socials committee to build community and give members a chance to connect outside the classroom.
