MEGSCo improves graduate student life in Berkeley's Mechanical Engineering department by hosting social events, providing mentoring between students, and bringing academic and research concerns directly to faculty and administrators. Members also get access to an unofficial student guide covering housing, funding, prelims, quals, and more. Town halls give grad students a direct channel to shape department policy.
