PhotoCubs (also known as PhotoBears) is UC Berkeley's joint student chapter of SPIE, Optica, and the IEEE Photonics Society, dedicated to advancing the field of optics on campus. Members come from Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Astronomy, Vision Science, and Optometry. The club promotes the optics community through meetings and engagement with students across disciplines who share an interest in optical engineering and photonics.
