Who can join SES?

Any individual can become a member by emailing berkeleyses@gmail.com or attending the Society's meetings. Membership is not restricted to Engineering Science majors, though the club primarily serves that department.

Can I still be involved after graduating?

Alumni of the Engineering Science Department are eligible for associate membership, which includes the right to attend alumni events held by the Society.

Question 3

How often does the club meet?

The Society meets each week unless otherwise announced. The meeting time and place is determined at the beginning of each semester.

Question 4

How are officers selected and what roles exist?

Accepted Answer

Officers are elected each April and November by simple majority vote. Required positions include President, Vice President, Outreach Chair, and Treasurer. Additional positions can be added by the President during the term.
