Steel Bridge Competition Team

The Steel Bridge Competition Team designs, drafts, fabricates, and constructs a roughly 20-foot student-made steel bridge to compete in the AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition at regional and national levels. Fall semester focuses on design using AutoCAD and SAP2000; spring shifts to hands-on fabrication and construction in campus shops. Open to all majors with no prior experience required. The team teaches everything from the ground up.

AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition - Nationals
The team advances to the national competition annually, bringing their student-fabricated steel bridge to compete against other university teams.
