Surge is a student-led engineering team designing, building, and testing high-performance electric motorcycles from scratch. The current project, Thunderbird, is a full electric conversion of a 2006 Honda CBR600RR, with members doing real fabrication work across three subteams: Electrical (battery packs, power systems, custom electronics), Mechanical (motor mounts, subframes, drivetrain), and low-voltage controls. No prior experience is required, just a desire to learn and contribute.
