The Anthropology Undergraduate Association (AUA) supports undergraduates studying or interested in anthropology at UC Berkeley. Members attend regular meetings, access a communal drive of presentations and advising resources, get pointed toward field schools, internships, and research opportunities, and connect with other anthro students through programs like Cal Pals. Membership is free, open to all majors, and requires no application. You don't even need to be declared to join.

Events They Host
ARF Brown Bag Lunch Talk
Weekly Wednesday event, 12pm to 1pm, recurring on the AUA calendar
Member Experiences
Cal Pals
Semester-long program pairing AUA members with another anthropology student based on shared classes, interests, or experiences. Pairs complete monthly challenges for points, with winners receiving gift cards or anthropology merch.
Weekly General Meetings
Regular member meetings; recordings are made available afterward on the communal drive for members who cannot attend.
