BAVRD is an annual one-day research conference bringing the Bay Area vision research community together to present and discuss findings across ophthalmology, optometry, biology, neuroscience, visual psychophysics, and computer vision. What distinguishes it from other conferences is that it is primarily organized and run by graduate students from the Vision Science Graduate Group at UC Berkeley. The event features invited speakers and poster sessions, is free to attend, and is open to all.
