Chronic Health Advocacy and Outreach connects pre-medical students to direct work in the chronic illness community. Members volunteer with pediatric patients at UCSF Children's Hospital's Wellness Center for Youth with Chronic Conditions, organize educational workshops, participate in chronic illness awareness walks, and collaborate with Bay Area chronic illness organizations. It's hands-on community service with a clear pre-health focus.
