Dental Brigades at Berkeley

Pre-Health·Community Service/Nonprofit·Health/Wellness

Dental Brigades at Berkeley is a chapter of Global Brigades, an international nonprofit that sends student volunteers on 7-10 day trips to under-resourced communities in countries like Honduras, Panama, Belize, Ghana, and Guatemala. On brigade, members provide fillings, extractions, and fluoride treatments alongside local dental professionals and run health education workshops for community members who otherwise have no regular access to dental care. On campus, members fundraise and recruit to make trips happen.
