The MSE GSC works to build a cohesive, inclusive, and safe community among Materials Science and Engineering graduate students at UC Berkeley. The council handles social events, orientation, academic and industry connections, international student advocacy, and department finances. Members join a small, structured team with defined roles working directly to improve department culture and support fellow MSE grad students.
