Mathematics Graduate Students Association

Academic Societies

MGSA represents math PhD students in Berkeley's Mathematics Department and builds community through regular social and mentoring events. Members can attend Friday tea in Evans Hall, speak at Many Cheerful Facts talks, join the peer mentor program, or volunteer for the annual open house for prospective students. Officers are elected annually and run the department office draw each spring. The club also sells Berkeley Math t-shirts, mugs, and hoodies.
