Medical Emergency Education Project at Berkeley

MEEP trains Berkeley students to teach CPR, AED use, and Stop the Bleed skills to youth and underserved communities across the Bay Area. Members go out into local schools and community settings as instructors, not just learners. The club also runs discounted AHA BLS certification classes on campus. It's a hands-on pre-health organization where you build real emergency response skills, get mentorship, and make a direct community impact.

Hands-on workshops delivered to schools, youth groups, and community organizations at no cost. MEEP brings all equipment. No certification provided.
AHA BLS Certification Classes
Official AHA BLS Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid certification courses held on the Berkeley campus. Discounted to $50 for Cal students. eCards issued same day.
Community Outreach: ResLife x RAs at Clark Kerr
On-site CPR certification course for UC Berkeley Residence Life staff and Resident Assistants at Clark Kerr. Certified 20 students and RAs.
Community Outreach: Laton Community (Central California)
MEEP traveled over 3.5 hours to deliver hands-on BLS/CPR training to a Latinx community in Central California, focused on culturally responsive emergency preparedness.
