The MCB GSO is run by and for graduate students in UC Berkeley's Department of Molecular and Cell Biology. Members serve on committees that represent student interests to faculty, elect divisional and first-year representatives, coordinate thesis presentations, and organize career programming through the MCB 295 Careers for Life Sciences PhDs course. The GSO also acts as the department's liaison to the UC Berkeley Graduate Assembly, with elected delegates serving two-year terms.
