MCC introduces students to the clinical side of evidence-based myopia (nearsightedness) control — a field growing fast as myopia is projected to affect 50% of the global population by 2050. Guest speakers from Berkeley Optometry, industry, and research share new developments, and hands-on fitting workshops let you work with corrective lenses and key instruments. Student clinicians can also assist with patient care.
