Phalanx is a student-run pre-medical consulting group that pairs incoming freshman pre-med students with experienced upperclassman consultants in small groups of five called cohorts. Each cohort meets individually with their consultant throughout the semester for personalized guidance on 4-year planning, class scheduling, research, clinical experiences, MCAT prep, and medical school applications. Every other week, all members attend 2-hour module workshops on topics like finding research, medical ethics, and interviewing.
