Project Shifa is a nonprofit organization with a UC Berkeley chapter that bridges gaps in healthcare access and education for students, immigrants, marginalized communities, and refugees. Members run pre-med, pre-PA, and pre-dental committees offering one-on-one mentorship, guest speaker sessions, and workshops on topics like MCAT prep, DAT prep, clinical shadowing, and navigating the PA school application process. The club also serves the broader community through healthcare literacy workshops and college preparation programs.
