Students vs Pandemics at Berkeley focuses on improving communication about a different disease each semester through education and outreach. Members join one of three committees: Public Health Research (writing articles paired with a graduate student), Supporting Houseless Populations (creating resource guides and joining outreach runs with the Berkeley Suitcase Clinic), or Supporting Local Schools (presenting to local middle and high schoolers and teaching at Berkeley's Splash event). Members can join as many committees as they like.

Lecture Series
The club has hosted a lecture series featuring UC Berkeley faculty speaking on public health and disease topics. Past speakers include Dr. Reingold (Division Head of Epidemiology and Biostatistics), Dr. Veronica Miller (adjunct professor, School of Public Health, focus on FDA and drug development), and Dr. Glaunsinger (Professor of PMB and MCB and HHMI Investigator, focus on virology and vaccine design).
Splash Event Presentations
Members teach local high schoolers at Berkeley's Splash event.
