UDiabetes takes diabetes education and preventive care directly into the community, running screenings for vision, kidney, and cardiovascular health at churches, food pantries, and community fairs across the East Bay. Members volunteer at outreach events, distribute free diabetic care kits, and connect people to medical support networks. The club works closely with Alameda County Health and a UCSF medical director, giving members hands-on public health experience in underserved communities.
